Richert Ready to Race in Austria

David Richert will be racing this upcoming weekend at the Red Bull Ring in Austria for the 4th event in the Drexler Automotive Formula 3 Cup.

After a whirlwind start to the 2022 race season, Richert currently sits 2nd in the championship and just behind 7 time champion, Sandro Zeller, who remains the favorite to repeat again this season.

Originally founded as the Osterreichring in 1969, the Red Bull Ring is situated in the scenic Styrian mountains and currently plays host to Austria's round of the Formula 1 World Championship.

Richert has consistently fought his way to podium results this season so far but, with another large field of cars entered for this weekend's event, it is expected to be an extremely competitive race.

"I was really happy with the progress we made at the previous event in Italy, but now it's just a matter of putting everything together, perhaps get a little more aggressive, and push towards the top step of the podium.
