Richert Returns to Germany
Hockenheim, Germany
The historic Hockenheimring in Germany will play host to this upcoming weekend's Drexler Automotive Formula 3 Cup race as David Richert is set to return to a circuit where his European racing career first began.
Richert's first race on a European track took place at the Hockenheimring back in the 2007 Volkswagen Polo Cup as part of a prize for winning Volkswagen's Jetta TDI Cup Media Championship for generating the most media attention throughout the race season.
Richert, who currently sits 2nd overall in the championship standings, is ready to attack this weekend's action packed schedule with competition squeezed into just two days of on-track activity.
"It's a pivotal moment in the championship so I expect we will throw everything we've got towards a good result here. I have a lot of special memories from Hockenheimring over the course of my career and I hope that we'll be able to add to them this weekend." -David Richert
